In line with its foundation in 1970, ISPO launched the first International Prosthetics and Orthotics Day on November 5th, 2023. Since then, ISPO Bangladesh has celebrated this day annually. The aim is to highlight and raise awareness about the importance of prostheses and orthoses (P&O) for users, and to emphasize the need for increased resources to ensure equitable and appropriate access to prosthetic and orthotic services.
